Q: What types of surfaces can Italian Venetian Plaster be applied to?versatile italian venetian plaster

A:Italian Venetian Plaster finishes can be applied to most surfaces. From new or existing drywall, wood, brick, concrete, ceilings, fireplace surrounds, columns or even exterior walls.

The key is understanding the Italian Venetian Plasters and how they interact with the different substrates.  Then correctly preparing the surface, so that it provides the proper tooth, adhesion or smooth surface  for the Italian Venetian Plaster.

David and Michael Nordgren, future Italian Plaster Artisans.

Q: Can you customize a plaster finish specifically for our needs?

custom venetian plaster finishesA:Absolutely, because of the trowel application of the Italian Venetian Plaster, each client will have their own unique and distinctive finish. Colors can be customized in almost any combination to coordinate with the vision of your project.

“The fun begins with the brainstorming session of a project. Selecting the  style, color, texture, and Italian Venetian Plaster finish is unique each time. The completion of a project, is like… saying goodbye to an old friend.”

~ Mark Nordgren
